Programs

Novice Registration Rules

  • A skills evaluation will be required and given by a coach or pool manager.
  • Age verification will be required and must be completed before the first meet, or the participant
    will not be allowed to compete.
  • $45.00 for the season (Includes T-shirt and Award) and $40.00 for second team sport registration.
  • Try-outs will start June 2017

Novice Teams

These programs are intended for the recreational participant. It does not come with any commitment to the program depending on the chosen level of participation. It is a seasonal program, however we encourage year-round participation in order to experience the full breadth of aquatic competition. Team practices include water instruction and may include dry land warm-ups. There is an opportunity for all participants to compete against other teams with similar ability and age citywide. Participation awards are given seasonally to each individual. Program is designed to accommodate both male and female participants.

Prerequisites: Participants must be 7-17 years of age and must be able to swim the width of the pool and back in deep water of that designated pool

Swim Team

Includes instruction on the four basic competitive strokes.

Length of season: June 19 - Mid August
Workouts: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Synchronized Swim Team

Includes instruction on figures, routines, and choreography.

Length of season: June 19 - Mid August
Workouts: Monday - Friday, 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Springboard Dive Team

Includes instruction on 1-3 meter board depending on location. Training on technique to accomplish required dives.

Length of season: June 19 - Mid August
Workouts: Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Water Polo Team

Includes instruction on drills, shooting, passing, swimming conditioning, and overall knowledge of the game.

Length of season: June 19 - Mid August
Workouts: Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Junior Lifeguarding

Price: $40

Program begins June 20th. The Junior Guard program allows youths between 10-17 years of age an opportunity to improve their swimming skills, receive a basic understanding of water rescue, first aid, beginning and intermediate snorkeling skills and canoeing skills. Program limited to 20 participants. This program is not eligible for an additional team discount. Check with the facility for last day to register.

Length of season: June 19 - Mid August
Workouts: Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
